One Way Down
Dig down. Try keep your crew alive. But they are expendable
One Way Down is an isometric clicker about a mining crew digging a hundred metres into the earth, one layer at a time. Click blocks to break them, earn gold, hire more miners, and keep going deeper.
Don't worry, the crew is expendable. just help where you can. Subsequent runs get easier.
The dig
- Break through six biomes: the Topsoil, the Stone Caverns, the Crystal Grotto, the Magma Depths, the Ancient Ruins and the Abyss.
- Spend your gold on a star map of 71 upgrades across five branches (Crew, Tools, Hands, Fortune and Combat), whose paths cross where the branches meet.
- Hire drillers, guards, a demolitionist, a medic and a foreman who barks orders. Every miner levels up as they work and becomes a master at level 10.
The things in the dark
- Zombies, bats, spiders, skeletons and ghosts come for your miners, and deeper down so do Burrowers, Mimics, Rock Golems and Abyssal Shades.
- A grabbed miner is choked until you click the monster to death. If you're too slow, they're gone for good. They're buried in the graveyard, and their replacement starts over from scratch.
- A boss guards every 10th metre: ten in all, from the Zombie King to the Void Maw, each with a trick of its own.
Base Camp
- Reaching the bottom ends an expedition. Back at camp, put up tents and hire five characters who join every expedition after that: Rocco the Hero Miner, Grizzle the Goblin Engineer, Mitts the Clay Golem, Pennyworth the Tax Collector and Wren the Archer.
- Build up the camp with 21 items that branch off one another, such as a divining rod, a friendly mimic (with a pup), explosive arrows, etc.
Find artifacts along the way that last for the rest of the expedition, and chase 61 achievements.
Your first expedition takes about 45 minutes. A fully upgraded camp can get it under 20.

sorry but there are too many monsters for me to find this fun. I spend more time clicking on monsters than clicking on blocks. simply because the miners are useless at defending themselves.
