I have now changed the way sounds work in the web version! However, I think if the sound was lagging/broken then the web version may not work well for you. Other things might also lag a bit, especially in the late game.
You can try the downloadable Desktop app, which should run much smoother!
sorry but there are too many monsters for me to find this fun. I spend more time clicking on monsters than clicking on blocks. simply because the miners are useless at defending themselves.
Oh, don't worry, by the time you get down to about... maybe level 40-50 and get a bunch of upgrades you won't spend time clicking on monsters either. The screen gets so busy that you'll lose track of your cursor every few seconds, so there's no point in trying to click anything.

Hey! Fair point. I was after something that required a fair bit of intensive clicking / engagement.
Game generally feels easy->hard->easy as upgrades are unlocked.
I have updated the game to include a more casual friendly mode which smooths things over a bit!
